This dryer is mainly used for drying iron powder plus mixture on pellet production line in steel works.
The material for drying is delivered from feed end. Being thrown about due to the inclination and rotation of body and under the action of lifting board, material shall move forward along the axis. Under the action of potential energy and kinetic energy of barrel inclination and airflow direction, material shall flow out from discharge end continuously during rotation and drying. After heat exchange, waste gas shall be pumped out via chimney.
In order to avoid air leakage and dust overflow and ensure the stability of drying system, sealing device shall be equipped at inlet and outlet of equipment.
This dryer is composed of feed device, sealing device, barrel, supporting device, transmission gear and discharge device. The barrel is kind of rotating member with lifting board inside.
The tire on barrel is supported by supporting roller, and the axial position of body is stabilized by thrust roller set. The barrel is brought into rotation by means of the engagement between big gear ring fixed on its body and pinions of transmission gear.
