Limestone is uniformly preheated to about 900℃ in preheater. Limestone decomposition rate reaches about 35% then hydraulic push rod device pushes limestone into rotary kiln quantitatively and sequentially for further calcination. Calcination process not only shortens calcination time of lime in kiln but also obtains lime with high activity.

Chamber feeding system
It mainly includes upper chamber feeding bin and discharging chute. Volume of feeding bin is 450m³. Discharging mode and structure can ensure that feeding to preheater main body can be completely closed, so that external cold air can not enter preheater, and feeding can be realized continuously or intermittently with help of rod valve.

Preheater main body
Which is most important part to ensure that materials are preheated to about 900 ℃. It is composed of preheater cylinder, distribution arch, suspension device and refractory brick lining (refractory is not within scope of supply). Most part of main body is steel structure, and some materials are made of heat-resistant steel, which can work at 1000-1100 ℃. In addition, updated design is adopted for structure of refractory brick lining, which can ensure that materials are evenly preheated in preheater and reach preheating temperature.

Hydraulic push rod device
Which mainly includes push head, frame and connecting rod. Push head is made of heat-resistant steel casting and can withstand high temperature. Through electric control and hydraulic system, eight hydraulic push rods can be operated quantitatively and sequentially as per automatic control program.

Lower feeding chamber
Which mainly includes chute, main main body of feeding chamber and feeding dish. Its main function is to introduce preheated limestone into rotary kiln for calcination.

Structural framework
Which mainly consists of columns, ring beams, diagonal bracing rods and etc.. Its main function is to bear weight load of superstructure of preheater, weight of maintenance platform of hydraulic push rod frame, and thrust load of hydraulic push rod in operation.
