Successful commissioning of Indian BEL anthracite pulverizing system
11-03-2020
On February 3, 2015, the vertical milling system designed and supplied by our company for the anthracite coal blending and coking process of India's BEL coking plant produced qualified coal after 3 days of commissioning.
In order to reduce the cost of coking, India's BEL coking plant plans to replace the main coking coal with a part of low-quality anthracite coal. After the trial burning test of BEL company, the particle size of inferior anthracite must be between 0.1-0.8mm in order to not reduce the index of coke, while the conventional crushing equipment (reversible impact hammer crusher) cannot achieve this crushing particle size.
After extensive investigations by BEL company, in view of the difficult-to-grind characteristics of BEL inferior anthracite (HGI=42), the grinding system with vertical roller mill as the core was finally selected. Andy will provide a complete set of services including the design, equipment supply, installation and commissioning of the anthracite pulverizing system, until reaching the production capacity.
The project was signed in October 2012. After three major design reviews and changes, the project officially started civil construction in June 2014. After six months of intensive construction, the construction was completed in January 2015 and the conditions for trial run were completed.
